July 23rd of this year rang in the new class of Baseball Hall of Fame members in Cooperstown and GoVision was there for this ultimate home run. Fred McGriff and Scott Rolen, both with nearly two decades of playing baseball, were elected to the 2023 Class of Hall of Famers. Both were inducted in a beautiful ceremony that highlighted an amazing weekend at Cooperstown.
GoVision had several screens near the stage for baseball fans to enjoy all the festivities with. Along with the induction, several Hall of Fame members returned to celebrate, play a few games of baseball, and join in a parade.
The Museum and Hall of Fame in Cooperstown have a rich history that goes all the way back to baseball’s invention in the same town in 1839 and its inaugural Hall of Fame class was inducted a little under 100 years later in 1936. Since then, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has been synonymous with the game itself.
The Hall of Fame Induction has strived to bring fans of the game together to honor its best and brightest and celebrate the history of baseball. In 2015 more than 45,000 fans flocked to Cooperstown and that number has only grown year by year. In an effort to make the induction as accessible as possible, the Museum and Hall of Fame called on GoVision to provide screens that allowed the ceremonies to be viewed easily by every fan in the audience.
Baseball is America’s favorite sport and GoVision feels incredibly honored to have been by the side of some of the game’s greatest in July.
