ARGYLE, Texas (June 11, 2024) – GoVision LLC, the premier provider of large-scale LED video displays, today announced the hiring of industry veteran Matt Ritter as its new Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Beginning July 1, Ritter will work alongside the company’s fixed-installation team and Brad Merriman, VP of Projects & Business Development, to co-lead and co-manage GoVision’s heritage fixed-installation client portfolio and establish growth strategy for the company’s fixed install and service businesses. He will also join GoVision’s Executive Leadership Team.
“Matt is a game-changing hire for us as we expand our services in key sectors of the business, especially the fixed-install side,” said Kevin Faciane, GoVision’s CEO & Partner. “Matt’s extensive background and expertise will be instrumental as we build on our leadership position in the hyper-competitive live-event industry, delivering on our unique ability to provide ‘Experience Unrivaled’ in leading sports, music and corporate events.”
Ritter brings more than 20 years of experience in multiple sectors, including professional, minor league and collegiate sports, performing arts, casinos and gaming, and retail. Since late 2021, he has served as President, CEO and member of the Board of Directors for BT Trailers – a manufacturing company in the transportation industry – where he spearheaded a major turnaround. Within his first year, the business became profitable and its customer base was expanding, highlighted by major partnerships with some of the largest oil & gas and mobile power companies in the world.
Previous stints included the EVP role at Southpaw Sports & Entertainment, VP of Sales & Marketing at Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company and VP of Sales & Marketing at TS Sports, a family business focused on athletic LED displays. At TS Sports, he established himself as a top executive in the sports marketing industry, securing contracts with all five major sports leagues.
Over his two decades of LED industry experience, Ritter has worked on more than 300 projects and installed over 1,000 displays with a value exceeding $350 million. “I am absolutely thrilled to join the amazing team at GoVision and look forward to working alongside some of the smartest and most accomplished individuals in the live-event industry,” said Ritter. “There are really no limits to where GoVision can go over the next several years – both within our current lines of business and as we develop new ones – and I can’t wait to be a part of writing that incredible story.”
Ritter is a native of the Fort Worth area. In 2006, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He played on the baseball team for four years and received the Dallas Baptist Patriot Award as the university’s most outstanding student-athlete for the 2004-05 season. Ritter is married to his high school sweetheart and fellow DBU alumna, Allison. They live in Fort Worth, where they are raising their three boys – Maddox, Mason and Manning. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, competing in triathlons and marathons, serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Pantego Christian Academy and is an active member of Gospel City Church.
